I have been in the garment manufacturing industry for over 50 years - originally working independently, and subsequently with an upmarket boutique. Together with the owner of the business, we created an exclusive range, which became very popular and a number of Fashion Shows were staged.
I also had a range of ladies bowls dresses - the only private manufacturer, which serviced those figures that did not conform to normal sizing or style.
Upon migration to Australia I worked independently, but did some small orders for shops in Melbourne. I also created a range of garments for a Fashion Show in country Victoria. A range of bowls dresses with designs approved by the VLBA were also part of my business.
Eighteen years ago I moved to Queensland and continued to work independently and cover most areas of construction. My preference is for evening wear, bridal and of course mother-of-the-bride/groom, daywear and creative work. I enjoy machine embroidery together with beadwork and am able to create unique individual styles with matching veils.
